Last week I did a post on my love affair with tea and my top tea staples. I often use loose leaf tea, which a lot of people avoid out of convenience, but I have come to realise, with the right accessories brewing a cup (or several) can be just as simple using leaves as with tea bags with the added value of high quality loose flavour and aroma.
Keeping tea air tight and maintaining its integrity is important and so is celebrating beauty through gorgeous homewares. I recently got these gorgeous tins from tree of life and I love their bright and happy statement on my tea shelf. They are uniquely handpainted in from Kashmir and add to the beauty of my tea brewing ritual every time I make a cup.
I personally am a fan of tea pots with an inbuilt diffuser, which enables removal of the tea leaves once they have steeped for the correct time period and stops large amounts of tea leaves from entering the brewed drink. My favourite 1-2 cup teapot is my owl I use it whenever brewing multiple cups at home. I also currently have a love affair with glass tea wares, like this beauty, which is perfect for showing off striking herbals and blooming teas.
I could write all day about my favourite tea accessories but these guys are my favourites, which I use daily. They are cute and simple and ensure there's always a hot brew in my cup. What are your favourite tea accessories?
You might have noticed I have been a bit light on the recipe front as of late, this is because I underwent a bit of a food intake overhaul by starting the Whole 30 this month and I am still getting my head around what I can and can't eat so everything is really simple. Keep an eye out in the next couple of weeks for more recipe posts coming back with a Whole 30 friendly focus.
